The best secret antique spots in upstate NY

Finding antique/ vintage gold mines can be tough. Yes, you want to find somewhere with amazing pieces, but it also has to be a reasonable price. There's a lot of amazing antique stores in Brooklyn (love Junk!) but everything is about double the price from upstate NY! Upstate truly is special, and it has been fun taking advantage. Here's three local spots that we keep returning to!

1. Main Street Antiques- 23 Main Street, Accord NY
Ron Sharkey is "The Godfather of Antiques" and he has an INCREDIBLE eye. He has a store in High Falls called Main Street Antiques, and also has barn sales in this beautiful barn on Sundays. From gorgeous cupboards to perfect antiques lamps, everything he sells is covetable (and affordable!)

2. Dickinsons Antiques - 440 Main Street, Beacon NY
The owner has good taste- this place is a gold mine for household trinkets. We bought incredible antlers mounted to wood, and it cost about $60. The prices are not as low as the stores in High Falls, but still definitely worth a visit, especially if you're looking for quirky decor for your home (i mean look at that adorable watering can, how did i pass that up?!?!)

3. Red Barn - Unknown
This secret spot is so secret that I cannot remember where it is! It was on the drive from New Paltz to Kerhonkson, on a small little road. The antiques inside were nothing to write home about, but the barn and the way it was setup was incredible!
